Description

As a Personal Care Assistant at Stepping Stones Group, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs. Your day will involve assisting students with daily activities, including personal hygiene, toileting, and mobility. You'll create a safe and welcoming environment tailored to each individual's needs and be a source of encouragement and positivity as they work towards their goals. Collaboration with teachers and other staff will be essential to ensure consistency in care and support.

Requirements

• Experience managing mild to severe behaviors
• Previous experience working with students in Special Education
• Comfortable with toileting and diapering
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR and first aid certification

Nice to Have

• Additional training or certifications in special education or related fields
• Experience in a school or clinical setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
