Description

Join our team as an Equipment Operator at SiteOne, where you'll play a crucial role in our operations! In this position, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely on the job site. A typical day may involve operating front-end loaders, skid steers, and excavators, as well as performing regular maintenance checks and keeping daily logs. You'll also need to adapt to the weather, whether it's rain, heat, or snow, as you work diligently to support your team in landscape and hardscape projects.

Requirements

• Experience operating equipment such as front-end loaders, skid steers, track loaders, articulating loaders, rubber tire wheel loaders, and/or excavators (strongly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of safety and maintenance protocols for the equipment mentioned.
• Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds or more.
• Capability to work in extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
• Experience in the landscape or hardscape, forestry, nursery, or irrigation industry is a plus.
• Ability to read and write effectively to record daily logs and maintain equipment checklists.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Proficiently operate all assigned equipment (including, but not limited to, front-end loaders, skid steers, track loaders, articulating loaders, rubber tire wheel loaders, and excavators) in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Keep equipment clean and well-maintained as scheduled or required.
• Notify branch leadership of necessary equipment maintenance or repairs.
• Assist with various other tasks assigned by management, such as receiving materials, inventory management, order processing, and general labor duties.
