I. Job Summary
Supervises daily landfill operations. Conducts operation, maintenance, and monitoring activities at all assigned closed landfills in compliance with site permits and environmental regulations. This position is responsible for collecting and managing field monitoring data, operating and maintaining environmental remediation systems, supervising contractors, assisting with budget tracking and procurement, and acting as liaison to regulatory inspectors and other stakeholders. This is an on-site field position assigned to multiple sites in the south side of Chicago and Calumet City, IL.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
III. Supervisory Responsibilities
This individual will have only indirect supervisory duties for the leachate technicians at CID Landfill, supervisory duties over third-party consultants and contractors

Normal setting for this job is landfill/outdoor.
The expected base pay range for this office/on-site position is $69,410 - $89,000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
In addition, this position is eligible for 10% AIP bonus.
