Municipal Mosquito
Admin Service Manager - Richardson
Job Description
Admin Service Manager
Municipal Mosquito is North Texas’ trusted provider of Integrated Mosquito Management services for city and municipal partners. Since 2006, we’ve helped protect public health through responsible, science-driven mosquito control practices.
As our operation grows, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and adaptable Admin Service Manager to keep our backend operations running smoothly — especially during our peak summer season. Starting salary of $45,000 to $55,000, depending on experience.
About the Role
As an Admin Service Manager, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes engine of our service team — keeping schedules aligned, customer records accurate, and communications flowing between field teams, clients, and leadership. You won’t be out spraying mosquitoes, unless things have gotten REALLY out of hand, but you will be making sure the folks who do can operate efficiently and effectively.
This is a highly operational role — ideal for someone who thrives in organized chaos, enjoys solving logistical puzzles, and doesn’t mind the occasional irregular or extended workday during our busiest months (typically June through September).
You’ll work closely with our Operations Director and Field Service Manager to make sure the right people are in the right places with the right tools — all while fielding client updates, supporting compliance documentation, and keeping tabs on the broader picture.
What You’ll Do
- Own the administrative flow of service operations, including route and schedule coordination, equipment tracking, and work order management.
- Act as a key liaison between field staff, leadership, and municipal clients — relaying critical updates, resolving issues, and keeping communications clear.
- Maintain accurate records including service logs, employee hours, client requests, and inventory oversight.
- Support hiring and onboarding of seasonal field staff as needed.
- Coordinate compliance documentation to ensure contracts, reports, and SOPs are properly filed and updated.
- Pitch in during busy season with overtime and irregular hours as needed (e.g. early morning prep or late-day wrap-ups).
- Improve systems where possible — this is a role with room to grow and evolve as our operation scales.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in operations, admin coordination, dispatch, or service team support (industry flexible).
- A knack for organization, prioritization, and communication under pressure.
- Tech-comfortable — not afraid to use or learn new systems (e.g., scheduling software, excel, bid software, operational software, field tracking tools).
- A cool head and a strong work ethic during busy season — extended hours and irregular shifts don’t rattle you.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Background checks performed on all employees - some bruises are OK based on certain guidelines.
Benefits
- Paid Time Off
- $45,000–$55,000 starting salary, with overtime eligibility and potential to grow. ● Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay.
- Health, Vision, & Dental coverage.
- Company paid Life Insurance.
- On-the-job training and growth opportunities as our team expands.
- The opportunity to be part of a mission-driven company protecting public health in our local communities.
